Breed Dulmen

The Dulmen is a breed of ponies in Germany. Initially he lived in the wild in the forests of western Germany, with time the original strain was almost completely extinguished. The few remaining populations, living free in a private reserve of Westphalia. The breed derived, however, not the original, because obtained with injections of blood of English and Polish ponies is more common and widespread nowadays. This pony is, however, an important race for having contributed to the breed of horse Hanover. The Dulmen is a mild-mannered pony, has a head and small ears, thin snout, limbs slender but solid mantle almost always gray or black. The Dulmen is agile and fast but has a very docile temperament and independent.
