Endurance

The Endurance riding is a sport recognized in the eighties, the Italian Federation of Equestrian Sports. Practiced in the world since the last century with more grueling tests compared to those of today, the endurance over the years has become one of the most popular equestrian sports and safe. The competitions consist of endurance racing, which varies from 20 to 160 km, depending on the categories, and take place on open ground of a different nature. The horses, before and during the race (each 30/35 miles), must be accompanied by his rider to veterinary stations where they are subjected to strict controls by the doctors, the first hint of fatigue the horse is excluded from the competition. The response of the veterinary committee is very important for the purpose of winning the race, the riders, in fact, arrived at the finish line, must be submitted for the last time the horse to the veterinarian.
