Breed Przewalski's horse

The Przewalski horse is native to western Mongolia. Named after Russian General Nikolai Przhevalsky, explorer who in 1881 during an expedition in the mountains Tachin Schara Nuru found a small herd of these horses and spread the news. The Przewalski's horse seems to be the only surviving in its original form from prehistory to today and this is designed to improve knowledge on the evolution of bloodstock. We try to preserve their existence by raising some specimens in zoos where they can reproduce.
The horse is presented with short stature, elongated head, thick neck and pointed ears, slender limbs, short, erect mane, tail composed of coarse hair and blacks, floured face, black legs sometimes with zebra. Temperamentally the Przewalski is grumpy and does not tolerate human presence
