The Budjonny is a horse from Russia in the early decades of the twentieth century. The breed was established at the stables of the Russian military, under General Budjonny "hero of the cavalry of the Russian revolution" which took on the name. Used initially as a war horse, Budjonny today is very popular in the equestrian sports. Horse classy, very elegant, very muscular, lean and smooth, has a dense coat and short, and in some subjects can be seen as a typical metallic sheen in the breed Akhal-Teke, the tail and mane are thin. The Budjonny has an intelligent and calm character, temperament is energetic and has excellent ability to adapt to extreme environmental conditions.
