The psychology of aid to the service results in the saddle

7 to 8 July: an opportunity not to be missed for all those who in Italy are starting to
understand the usefulness of applying the theory of learning mount
(Learning Theory), a pillar of applied ethology
Directly from Delaware Valley College of Pennsylvania, Angelo Telatin
will be available to horsemen and horsewomen of the Italian ponisti on 7 and 8
coming in July (Saturday and Sunday) for a two day intensive between science and
riding at the magnificent facilities of the Center of the Horse of Venaria
(To). The professor and Italian coach, who graduated in 1991 with a thesis on
comparison of the training techniques and the psychology of learning
under the wing of Mario Zanforlin, famous scholar and animal psychology
compared at the University of Padua, and called ten years ago at the prestigious
American college where he directs the graduate program in Equestrian Studies, is also
Fellow (master instructor) of the British Horse Society (to be exact, the 65th
in history) holds then, in addition to academic qualifications, the more technical
high that the major British equestrian organization can be attributed,
bestowed on those who are recognized as worthy ambassadors of equestrian sports
in the world and described by the Bhs as "the jewel in its crown."
Telatin will be in our country in July for a full agenda of commitments, but
found at the last minute to spend a weekend clinic at the Centre
International Horse AllHorse and Italy will propose to the Knights
Italians. AllHorse, a company specialized in organizing equestrian events selected
in which the scientific principles are directly applicable, thus leading to results
tangible in practice and competitive equestrian addestrativa, after treating the
first Italian appearance by Andrew McLean with a lecture-demonstration
RomaCavalli held in 2012 now has the pleasure to present the stage that Telatin
held in Piedmont.
At Delaware Valley College practical courses in dressage and show jumping are based
Theory on learning to provide students with an easy and correct
application of the techniques of riding and horse training. In fact, under the
Telatin guide the boys are placed consistently at the forefront of the race
university. In addition, here are learning to solve problems of horses:
aggression to depression, from shearing the distrust of the trailer,
restlessness during feeding time, or simply teach the horse
games to play together to make the relationship more enjoyable, such as reporting a
toy, chasing a Frisbee, play football.
All this can now be learned and experienced in the field by the fifteen
participants in the clinic (with horses and ponies): the theory of learning explains
now irrefutable scientific bases of the mechanisms that drive the acquisition of
knowledge in animals and the relationship between horse and rider in the saddle and the ground.
Teaches such actions are most effective for the purpose of obtaining a particular and
desired behavior on the part of the subject, in a spontaneous and far
from coercion: that shows how to train and ride the horses respecting their
psychological equilibrium, and it is clear that when an athlete as our friend
four legs is "good head" will get better performance in the race.
The personal website of Professor. Telatin (www.angelotelatin.com), written in both English
in Italian, in addition to the career of this interesting
technical and ethologist in the "Who" is stimulating to read the part
regarding the training to understand what will be the bases,
very practical, although inspired by the most rigorous scientific principles and
subsequent research in equine ethology, which will work on the bike and the ground
during the clinic.
